Fueled by instantaneous communications, daily creation of new knowledge, and increasing globalization, rapid and dramatic change is becoming the norm in the world today. Educators, business owners, and society as a whole must recognize this new reality and be prepared to respond to it.  Now, perhaps more than ever, community colleges are important partners as you develop a well trained and educated workforce prepared to succeed in the world of change.

Priscilla Bell, Ph.D., currently serves as president of North Idaho College. Prior to joining NIC, Bell was president of Highline Community College in Des Moines, Wash., from 2000 to 2006 and served as the president of Fulton-Montgomery Community College in Johnstown, N.Y., from 1995 to 2000. Bell also served in various roles at Tacoma Community College for more than 17 years.

Bell has taught various classes throughout her career and has served on several national boards and committees. Bell serves as a member of the boards of directors for the North Idaho College Foundation, Opera Coeur d’Alene, First Judicial District Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and Jobs Plus, the economic development corporation serving Coeur d’Alene and Kootenai County.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations can be made without charge before 12 noon
on Tuesday May 11. (After this date and time, accommodations
will be confirmed with the hotel and your reservation cannot be
cancelled.)

You will be invoiced if you have not cancelled your
reservation and do not attend the meeting because the chapter
incurs the cost of your meal.
