For nearly 14 years, the Inland Northwest Chapter of NAWBO has been striving to propel women entrepreneurs into economic, social, and political spheres of power worldwide. "This year we would like to build on our existing affiliations with other local business groups to increase our members’ visibility, share our experience with others and reach more women business owners in the community," said Lorinda Knight, President of Inland Northwest Chapter of NAWBO. Chapter meetings are hosted each month, with business speakers, topics and a curriculum specifically designed to help women in business meet the challenges of starting, running and maintaining a business in today’s marketplace. "We work to strengthen the wealth creating capacity of our members and promote economic development at all levels – from informal coffee breaks to national conventions." says Knight.
