Contact Cynthia at 838-7570 or cynthia@challangercoaching.com I am facilitating my clients use of DocuBank for safe storage of and immediate access to their important documents. So, what is DocuBank? DocuBank stores all advance directives: The annual fee to take advantage of this is incredibly affordable. Normal retail cost for this is $45 for one year or $145 for five years. For my NAWBO sisters, I will be able to provide this service for you for $35 per year or $125/5 years. Clients carry their DocuBank Emergency Cards in their wallets. The card instructs the hospital to call the service, whereupon we transmit clients' living wills to the hospital right away any time, day or night, around the world. When your advance directives are faxed to the hospital, we also include the names and telephone numbers of your three emergency contacts and primary care physician. Call me if this sounds interesting - it's a great use of technology, and I'd be happy to answer your question! -- Bonnie Bell-Andersen, CLU I left my garden to start OurTownZip.com and the first organization I joined was NAWBO in April 2010 and so far it is the only one. My neighbor, Judi Williams, encouraged my gigantic endeavor and told me this was the group to join, and she was right, as usual. I met friendly ladies, multi-generational who loved business, many of them owners of companies. I brought my daughter Rosa who quickly became a favorite to many. She instantly saw herself as a successful woman in business. We were inspired by the stories of hard work and triumph over adversity. I brought my business partner Maureen Gobin and other guests to bond in NAWBO's unique atmosphere. Heather Pieczonka pointed me in the right direction to market my businesses model. Others gave me inspiration and expertise. ourtownzip.com was a vision to promote local commerce and sustainable neighborhoods. It is a safe site to visit. It is a free site where everyone can promote their products and skills and take part in commerce on the Internet. Ourtownzip.com is live, working, funded and launching. I hope you help it become a success by creating a free storefront, increasing the traffic for everyone and reaching your customer base and increasing your clientele. It only takes a few minutes. And please let me know what you think, june@ourtownzip.com, founder, wife of a starving artist (swatzellart.com) - June Swatzell "Helen Sarver, CFP has joined Fulcrum Financial Group. Bonnie Bell-Andersen Facilitates DocuBank
DocuBank is the largest and oldest electronic storage and access service for your health care directives in the nation. DocuBank helps to ensure that your medical wishes are known and respected when it counts. Around the clock, around the world. Immediate Access When you store your health care documents with DocuBank, you receive a customized DocuBank Emergency Card that makes all of your critical healthcare documents available in two convenient ways:
A Call: By placing a toll free call hospitals can have your health care directives immediately faxed to them in case you are in an accident
Medical Alerts
A Click: Simply by clicking the Hospital Button, or using the pop up box on the Web site, hospital staff can view and print documents immediately
The DocuBank card lists important medical conditions and allergy information so that it is immediately available at the hospital. The name and contact information of one emergency contact also appears on the face of the card. A cover page that accompanies the directives any time they are requested also lists two additional contacts and the name and number of a primary care physician.
Security and Peace of Mind
Private Password Protection means members have an added level of protection for on-line DocuBank information. While hospitals can print your directives using your member number and PIN, they cannot make changes to your personal contact information.
b>Family Notification Service
DocuBank now offers a Family Notification Service. Members can send a personalized email to friends and family members letting them know that they have joined the DocuBank service and that their health care wishes are available 24/7/365 in an emergency.
Communicating Health care Wishes
DocuBank can help members communicate their wishes verbally too. We know that conversations about death and dying are difficult. That's why we offer some suggestions and guidelines on how to broach this subject with loved ones. Available in our Member Services section, we provide important conversation topics along with helpful links.
Wallet Stickers
The DocuBank Emergency card arrives within 4-6 weeks of enrollment and comes with alert stickers to be placed on the members' driver's license. These alert stickers tell hospital and emergency staff that they can obtain your health care directives using your DocuBank wallet card.
Additional Cards
Members can print additional cards for friends and family members at any time. Additional paper copies of the card also arrive along with the plastic emergency card.
