Cindra Shields, Graphic Business Systems

Cindra Shields started her career in the publishing industry in California in 1988. She became active in the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce where she won the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2000, and she later joined the Chamber staff in Redondo Beach.  As their Creative Director, Cindra won the Outstanding Achievement Award for their Newsletter from the Western Association of Chamber Executives.

In 2003, Cindra moved to the Spokane area and brought her business, Graphic Business Systems, to Spokane Valley. She has become an active member of the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber and has served on the board of the Inland NW Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.

Following in 2006, Cindra became the publisher of Remodel Spokane magazine; and in 2007, the Spokane Home Builders Association honored her with the President’s Award for Outstanding Service to the building industry.

Cindra is active in the business community but the light of her life is her son, Chris, and daughter, Victoria ,who have worked right alongside Cindra, learning her business.
