Billie Moreland, owner of Billie Moreland & Associates, is a past president of NAWBO. She received her PHD from Kansas State University, and was chef owner of Moreland's Restaurant for 20 years. She sold the restaurant and immediately started Billie Moreland & Associates. Under that umbrella, she has done restaurant consulting, food writing, and other technical writing. Working with Julie Prafke, she wrote the winning NAWBO Small Business Person of the Year nomination. She wrote the Spokane's Intelligent Community of the Year document which helped earn Spokane's Most Intelligent Community in the United States award for two consecutive years. She wrote the user's manual for "Truck Equipment Quoting" Software. Working with the Terabyte Triangle, Billie wrote the Terabyte Triangle Briefing Book for real estate developers. She is in the tenth year of writing the Terabyte Triangle Newsletter which showcases downtown Spokane's technology, science, and business.
