Chapter News: February 2010
Volume 7, Issue 6 Thursday, March 11, Next NAWBO will feature, "The Importance of Deepening Your Community" presented by Cheryl-Anne Millsap, 5:30 to 8:30, at the Doubletree Hotel. Social networking has changed the game. It has shortened the distance between you and your prospective clients, customers and even employers. The secret to employing this communication medium in your business and/or marketing strategy is to practice the art of building relationships and not just gathering page fans or friends. The featured speaker is Cheryl-Anne Millsap, local author and columnist. Millsap is a freelance writer living in Spokane. Cost is $35 with RSVP prior to noon Tuesday, March 9; $40 after noon March 9. For more information or to register, visit www.NawboNW.org or call Karin Kasinger at 509-481-3357. Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 6 - 8pm. Everyone in Spokane will be talking about the social event of the season. UNCORKED! will be held on NAWBO's regular meeting date, Thursday April 8, 2010, from 6-8pm at the newly remodeled Caterina Winery. The event will feature Don Townshend's (new owner of Caterina) new-concept wines created for this winery. This is your chance to be on the leading edge of tasting these new wines. In addition to great wine and fabulous company, UNCORKED! will feature mouth watering food from Puttin' On the Ritz and non-pareil Chocolate from Chocolate Myracles. We would love to see all NAWBO members attend and bring a friend, family member, or woman business owner. This is a fund raiser for our organization's operating budget, and it will be fun, so bring as many people as you can.
