Carol Bjork, HeyCats Web Solutions

Carol Bjork is the “Alpha Cat” of HeyCats! and has over 20 years of professional experience in consulting, engineering, and Web development. 

As a civil/environmental engineer, Bjork managed a variety of large environmental projects that included surface water and groundwater flow modeling, database design, permitting, and construction oversight.  In the field of computer science, Bjork is involved in developing innovative database-driven Web applications and e-commerce sites.  She has a collaborative working style with effective skills in software development, project management, problem solving, technical writing, communications, team building, and teaching. 

Bjork holds a M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University, and a Certification of Advanced C++ and Windows Programming from Eastern Washington University.

Bjork is passionate about helping other local businesses succeed.  She is a member of the Spokane Chapter of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) and served on their board as treasurer for 2 years.  She currently serves on the board for the Washington Economic Development Finance Authority (WEDFA).

< When Bjork is not in front of her computer, she enjoys just about anything that lets her experience the outdoor beauty of the Inland Northwest, including skiing, biking, climbing, backpacking and photography.  She also teaches Jazzercise and owns the Jazzercise Fitness Center of Spokane.
