A welcome message from Alison Zecha, President

“Make no small plans for they have no power to stir the soul.” Machiavelli

Welcome to the 2009-2010 year with the Inland Northwest Chapter of NAWBO!

I hope you will join us, as this is the year to Power Your Dream.

Our chapter gives women business owners a community to create and nurture lasting relationships, a forum to develop business acumen, learn from each other, mentor and enjoy our lives as business owners.

We are savvy, creative, courageous, hard-working, professional, compassionate, fun and sometimes a little ‘wild and crazy’ business women. Some of us are new to business ownership and some of have many years of experience.

We have a collective NAWBO dream, our Vision and Mission.

NAWBO's Vision

The National Association of Women Business Owners propels women entrepreneurs into economic, social, and political spheres of power worldwide.

Mission Statement

As an organization with a "customer first" philosophy, we:

    • Strengthen the wealth creating capacity of our members and promote economic development
    • Create innovative and effective changes in the business culture
    • Build strategic alliances, coalitions, and affiliations
    • Transform public policy and influence opinion makers

You have dreams too.

We want to help empower you to Power Your Dream. Come connect at any and all of the following: our monthly dinner meetings on the second Thursday of the month; our quarterly ‘Briefcase Lunches’; our annual seminar and banquet in October, ‘Living Your Dream - Taking Control of Your Success’  and ‘Powerful Dream: Event + Response = Outcome’; our upcoming partner workshops with BizStreet; and share a glass of wine and some womanly wisdom at our Spring ‘Art, Wine and Nibbles with NAWBO’ event.

NAWBO has lots of opportunities to enrich you as a woman business owner.

We look forward to connecting and collaborating with you in the upcoming days, weeks and months to help you Power Your Dream!

Cheerful aloha, Alison
