Small Business Scholarship for Leadership Spokane Class of 2011

Express Employment Professionals, a woman-owned SBA sanctioned small business, has been serving Spokane for sixteen years. Owners Susan and Ira Amstadter (Class of 2000) embrace the strength and importance to our community of small, locally-owned and operated businesses.

"We believe that knowledge is power, and it begins with awareness," affirm Susan and Ira. "Spokane 101--aka Leadership Spokane--exposes participants to the tapestry of communities and economies that make up our shared mosaic called Spokane.

"In order to encourage small business participation in the Leadership Spokane Class of 2011, we are funding two $250.00 scholarships."

To be considered, please submit a one page essay entitled, "What We Love About Doing Business in Spokane." Applicants for the scholarships should be principals in their companies and paying their own way.
