Professional Clothing Drive

National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Inland Northwest is joining with  YWCA's Opportunity Center to combine efforts in a Professional Clothing Drive for Our Sister's Closet.

Items can be donated at NAWBO's next Chapter Meeting, July 14th , 5 - 8:30pm at The Lincoln Center in Spokane; or the YWCA front desk Mon-Fri, 7am– 6 pm. Items needed include:

• Women’s gently worn wear-to-work and casual apparel
• Dress, casual, & work shoes
• Gently used portfolios, bags
• Jewelry, scarves and belts
• New notepads, folders, pens
• New underwear & gently used bras
• Resume paper
• Gently used make-up and toiletries
• USB Flash Drives
• New deodorant & tooth brushes
• Feminine hygiene products
• Handled shopping bags
• Clear plastic apparel hangers

Our Sister’s Closet provides low-income women with clothes for work, interviews and vocational training. We serve a diverse population who come from domestic violence, substance abuse rehab and other life crisis situations. Women receive advice on appropriate fit, daily attire and how to get the job.
