Brenda Brown, US Bank

I have worked for US Bank since 2002 but I have been in Banking for 30 years. My 1st Job in Banking started back in 1980 at Benj-Franklin Savings and Loan- In Downtown Spokane. At that time our Passbook Savings rates were 5% and Prime Rate was 18%. Times have changed!

I was Hired as a Loan Processor for Home Mortgages and since the interest rates were so high and no loans to process I became a teller. There have been a few stops on the way - today I am fortunate to work for Us Bank in Business Banking. I am currently serving on the Finance committee of Transitions and just started volunteering with Mirayms House.

For the past 4 years 1 hour a week for 6 weeks I volunteer with Junior Achievement at Longfellow Elementary with Paula Lynch and her 2nd graders - Love every minute but exhausted when I leave- I have amazing respect for our Educators and their energy level!
