Meetings and Events

Gather at Nectar for an evening of fun, getting to know fellow team members and discovering small owner operated businesses downtown. Everyone will be assigned a team and head off to downtown businesses.

First, figure out the name of the business, find it on the map, go there and pick up requested item. You will also be asked to take some FUN photos with team members. There will be questions about Spokane to answer or ask “the man on the street”.

NO cell phones allowed (except for the designated photo taker!). After 90 minutes, meet back up and enjoy wine and food (if you choose) while scores are tallied.

Silly prizes for the three top teams. Should there be a tie, the funniest photo with be the tie breaker.

Julie Saucier started Group Coordinators in the spring of 1985 because she saw the need for someone to offer City Tours and tours of the area for incoming conventions and tour groups. Since then, she has expanded to offer tours throughout the Pacific Northwest and Glacier National Park and has worked with conventions of up to 3000 people, offering multiple tours each day. With the ever-growing wine and craft beer industry in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene, she has developed numerous tours, both walking and on a bus for conventions and locals alike. She says she now does more winery tours than city tours! Her team includes one full time person, 7 guides and 3 registration staff. Julie’s goal is to make the meeting planner or group leader look good by offering a great tour program their clients love and thank them for it.
